When the White House released its plan for tax reform on April 26, Realtors® raised strong concerns that it would nullify the mortgage interest deduction and eliminate important other deductions that incentivize homeownership.

As news continues to trickle out about the plan, the National Association of Realtors® is taking steps to make sure its members are briefed on the details.

NAR’s Senior Policy Representative for Federal Taxation, Evan Liddiard, and NAR Deputy Chief Lobbyist Jamie Gregory sat down for a video to dicuss why Realtors® – and homeowners, too – should be concerned, as well as what they need to watch for as the debate continues.
