It’s official! Major League Baseball’s (MLB) appropriately named Grapefruit and Cactus League’s begin their spring training schedule today.

While it’s not regular season baseball, consider this month’s slate of exhibition games in Florida and Arizona to be the bread served before your meal at a restaurant: it’s not what you came for, but it’ll hold you over until the real thing arrives.

MLB spring training is big business for both the Phoenix metro area and the 15 communities dotted up and down Florida where big league teams’ facilities reside. Sun-starved Midwesterners and snowed in New Englanders flee colder temps to relish the sights, sounds and smells of America’s pastime.

For many die-hard fans, the location of their second-home or place of retirement is influenced by where their favorite team hosts its spring games. Fifteen teams play within the Phoenix metropolitan statistical area (MSA), where the single-family median home price is $221,000 (as of the fourth quarter of 2015). The remaining 15 teams are scattered throughout Florida.

Here’s a look at the median single-family home price (as of Q4 2015) for the 15 teams playing in the Sunshine State:
