Does any one have experience working owner occupant offers with a parent as a co-owner paying cash?

Son would be primary resident.  Dad would be paying cash.

I’ll check with the listing agent to see if they know but I know our team is smarter than the average HUD listing agent.

A: For FHA loans, HUD would allow a non-owner occupant co-signer on the loan.  If both are going to be on title, I wouldn’t think they’d have an issue with it.  Does Dad have to be on the PA or could he just record a mortgage against the property?
